First trimester ultrasound ( week 7-12): to confirm pregnancy, look for multiple gestations, see the foetal heartbeat , determine the gestational age and due date, determine and ectopic pregnancy or miscarriage.

Non invasive prenatal test (NIPT) for trisomy 21 ( Down syndrome ), trisomy 18( Edwards syndrome ) and trisomy 13( Patau syndrome ) :NIPT offers early genetic screening for chromosomal conditions as early as 10 weeks of gestation.

The test is non invasive (just a blood test and an Ultrasound )  and screens for the main foetal aneuploidies like trisomy 21, 18 and 13. It also provides optional gender examination.
