Dr Carolina Tovar

Dr Carolina Tovar is a Venezuelan and Spanish physician with extensive experience in Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Fertility, and Assisted Human Reproduction. She completed her specialist training in Gynaecology and Obstetrics at the Maternidad Concepción Palacios in Venezuela and subsequently undertook further training in Assisted Human Reproduction.

She spent 10 years at Instituto Bernabeu in Spain, a leading reproductive medicine centre, where she gained extensive experience in fertility assessment, reproductive health, and assisted reproduction. During this time, she obtained a Diploma in Obstetric and Gynaecological Ultrasound from the Spanish Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (SEGO)

Since 2020, Dr Carolina has been working in Ireland, where she has developed extensive clinical experience as a Gynaecologist and Fertility Consultant. Her years of practice in Ireland have provided her with a strong understanding of the Irish healthcare system and the specific needs of women in the local community. She has continued to build her expertise in the assessment and management of a broad range of gynaecological and reproductive health conditions, as well as fertility-related concerns.

Her Irish clinical experience has further strengthened her ability to provide comprehensive, individualised care and to work collaboratively with patients and other healthcare professionals. She places particular importance on clear communication and shared decision-making, ensuring that patients understand their options and feel supported throughout their care.
