Dr Ignacio Haro

Dr. Haro graduated in Family and Community Medicine in Barcelona, Spain, in 2012 and subsequently completed a Master’s degree in Infectious Diseases at Hospital del Mar in Barcelona. With more than eight years of experience in Emergency Medicine, he developed extensive expertise and confidence in the assessment and management of both acute and chronic medical conditions.

He moved to Dublin in 2015 and has since worked as a General Practitioner, gaining valuable experience within the Irish healthcare system and developing a strong understanding of the healthcare needs of his local community. He also has particular expertise in minor surgical procedures commonly performed in General Practice.

Committed to ongoing professional development, Dr. Haro regularly undertakes continuing medical education and keeps his knowledge and clinical skills up to date across all areas of General Practice. He has completed a Point-of-Care Ultrasound certificate through the Spanish Society of Family and Community Medicine (SEMFYC). In 2026, he was awarded a further qualification in Advanced Abdominal Ultrasound by the Catalan Society of Family and Community Medicine (CAMFiC). He has also been awarded a Dermoscopy certificate by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
